Different functions could have various issues. For some functions, we add sections with possible issues:
If you get such an error after pressing the buttons, try updating to the latest version of CS, reopening the extension panel, and restarting AE.
If you notice that one of the scripts not working, like this one, where the effect doesn't add to the layer, try to restart the extension.

Sometimes you may notice errors after applying functions.
This is often a temporary error due to how AE works. It adds expressions to the effect later than necessary. So everything will work properly, but the error will be displayed. To clear this up, click on the magnifier button. AE will look at the expressions and update the existing connections, and then the error will disappear. If it keeps showing up, it's probably a new bug. Let us know about it.
